Using Bullinger’s King James Version Companion bible (Kregel)
A study of the 3 Earth Ages that are found in the Biblical scriptures. The First Earth age has already passed long ago, we are in the Second Earth age now, and a final Third Earth age will begin at the end of the Millennium’s years, and after the final Judgement (great white throne).
How many Earth ages have there been, and how many overall?
We are in the 2nd Earth age, the 1st Earth age was closed away, while the
3rd Earth age is yet to arrive after the Millennium years.
The big question of “why” there are 3 Earth ages is important to answer. The Earth is very old already and has been around for eons. Yet some people will say that the Earth is only about 6000 years old. Others look at the earth’s historical geology including the remaining bones of creatures that died away long ago as proof of an older Earth.
Petroleum is derived from accumulated dead vegetation and being heated under heavy compression over a long period of time for the hydrocarbons to reorganize its molecularity. So does the Bible explain the plan of 3 Earth ages? Yes it does.
The 3 ages were not the original plan that God wanted, but when satan and his a large group of God’s children (about 1/3) who followed satan in that rebellion against God occurred, God had to make some changes to try to offer salvation to those who sinned – hoping they would reconsider and come back to God their creating Father.
Below, Revelations [12:1-4] describes some events of the world of the 1st Earth age, before the catastrophic purge of the Earth’s life and what the Earth appeared like in Genesis [1:2].
Revelation [12:1] “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman
clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a
crown of twelve stars:
Revelation [12:2] “And she being with child, travailing in birth, and
pained to be delivered.”
Revelation [12:3] “And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and
behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven
crowns upon his heads.”
[ed: This is satan’s prior role (dragon) and the governance structure (10 powers with 7 areas) he ruled with before his pride and evil inequities caught up to him. For satan, in his rebellion, said he would become exalted above the true God, that is, to make himself “God”. ]
Revelation [12:4] “And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven,
and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman
which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was
born.”
[ed: Satan dragon “tail” swept up 1/3 of God’s children who sided with satan, and outright stood against God. The child being born is the Son of God Jesus Christ, our Savior.]
Ezekiel [28:2] “Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the
Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a
God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man,
and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:”
[ed: “son of man” (lower case) is Ezekiel. He and Elijah are the only 2 prophets to have that title provided to them by God.
The underlined text is what God told satan (prince of Tyrus) when satan claimed he would become God.]
Ezekiel [28:15] “Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou
wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.”
Ezekiel [28:16] “By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the
midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast
thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O
covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.”
Ezekiel [28:17] “Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou
hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of the brightness: I will cast thee
to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.”
[ed: Here is the reasons that satan failed in God’s eyes. He was to use religion and business to build himself into a more powerful role. He was crooked and had no repentance for his sins. He was too proud and arrogant to repent and change himself. He will return to Earth soon as the instead-of-Christ so he can gain some respect for his authority and be reverence as a god, by most people. ]
[ed: God had the choice to destroy satan and the 1/3 rebellious souls, or he could create a brand new Earth age whereby people could make up their own minds by being born through women with an innocent mind not remembering what was of the 1st Earth age. Since he love his children so much, he chose the later plan, and then caused the Earth to become desolate, with satan receiving the final death sentencing, thus he is the son of perdition after that point. ]
[ed: In Jeremiah, chapter 4, you can read of how the Earth was brought to become void of all life, and for some time it was so. Genesis [1:2] single verse is about that desolation. Then Genesis [1:3] shows how the Earth was rejuvenated and replanted with plants, animals, and many people.]
Jeremiah [4:23] “I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and
void; and the heavens, and they had no light.”
Jeremiah [4:24] “I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all
the hills moved lightly.”
Jeremiah [4:25] “I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of
the heavens were fled.”
Jeremiah [4:26] “I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and
all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and
by His fierce anger.”
Jeremiah [4:27] “For thus hath the Lord said, “The whole land shall be
desolate; yet will I mot make a full end.”
[ed: God is very angry about this whole situation, he destroys the Earth such as it was, but he has a plan to not keep this destruction from being the final end.]
Genesis [1:1] “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
Genesis [1:2] “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness
was upon the face of the deep.”
[ed: Genesis [1:1] is the very beginning of creation without any time element attached to it.
Genesis [1:2] is the result after some time in the 1st Earth age when satan began and continued his rebellion against God and all that is Godly. Some of Father’s children stood with him then and some of these same people will also be doing that once the anti-Christ begins his fake role as the Messiah in the mountain of Jerusalem.
In the Massorah test it reads “(to become) without form…”
Massoretic text for these words, “…without form…” is “tohu-va-bohu”,
Strong’s H1961 – “Hayah” – “to become, or come to pass. “.]
Genesis [1:3] “And God said, “let there be light:” and there was light.”
[ed: Genesis [1:3] is the first verse of the newly created 2nd Earth age that we live in now. Note that the “light” is not the stars, or sun, or moon for they were created in the fourth day (Genesis [1:14-19]). This light is God’s spirit, the Holy Spirit being brought forth to Earth for the re-creation of the Earth habitat for renewed earthly life forms of all kinds.]
[ed: Whenever most people read through Genesis’ first few chapters, they assume that the very creation of Earth begins at chapter 1, verse 1. This leads to a large misunderstanding for the balance of Genesis scripture and to other Bible scriptures written over a very long period of time by God’s prophets.]
II Peter [3:8] “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day
is the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
[ed: Reading 2Peter chapter 3 to show how there are 3 distinct Earth ages,
with the 1st Earth age already closed, this current 2nd Earth age
ongoing, and a 3rd Earth age that will occur after the very end of the
Millennium years.]
II Peter [3:5] “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of
God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and
in the water:”
II Peter [3:6] “Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with
water, perished:”
[ed: That 1st Earth age and all of the content of it was destroyed.]
II Peter [3:7] “But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same
word are dept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment
and perdition of ungodly men.”
[ed: This is referring to the 2nd Earth age, when people will eventually be
judged, at the end of the Millennium years.]
II Peter [3:13] “Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new
heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
[ed: This above verse tells of yet another Earth age period that will arrive at the end of the 1000 year period known as the “Millennium”, or at the end of “the Lord’s Day” of this 2nd Earth age.]
Ephesians [2:7] “That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding
riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus:”
[ed: Paul tells the church at Ephesus, (and us) that there is kindness in God’s concern for his people, and so it will be for the next and last 3rd Earth age.]
Revelation [21:1] “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first
heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more
sea.”
Revelation [21:2] “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming
down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her
husband.”
Revelation [21:7] “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will
be his God, and he shall be my son.”
[ed: John saw is his vision the sight of the new City being brought out for the 3rd Earth age. The Heaven and Earth are renewed back as it existed when Eden was.]
The 1st Earth age was closed and put away by God, for it is written that many of his children had rebelled with satan against God. These children sided with satan, and after satan refused to repent to God, so he could be forgiven by God, satan received a pronouncement of death against him for his sins were so great to justify this. He has been judged and the sentence will be carried out at the very end of the Millennium period, before the 3rd Earth age.
Before the rebellion, satan was high on God’s mountain, he was the most completely gifted, the most beautiful man that God created. God gave him the opportunity to change away from his corrupted ways, yet he refused and the rebellion continued – so God had no choice but to remove him away from God’s altar and pronounce a sentence of death to him. This was a choice by satan – he knows his death is his own choice. He fell down to the ground in humiliation, it was his stubborn pride and arrogance of his deliberate sins while raising himself above all others including God, to continue his fight against God and the anointed Son of God, our Messiah Jesus Christ.
To be fair for all concerned of guilt in the 1st Earth age, God would also have to sentence any other person who stayed with satan and his ways. To avoid killing (for they really do end their own lives by their choice), God chose to make a new 2nd Earth age and would plan to bring the perfect anointed Savior for all to claim for the forgiveness of all sins, and to make complete peace with God our Father. We need such forgiveness of our errors and regretful poor choices that lead us into transgressions against others or God himself.
If only 1 thing can be said, it is that God loves his children so very much. Look at all of the things he has had to endure over a very long time, and yet he is so willing to forgive and restore people back into good graces. He loves them so much and just wants to see if some (hopefully all) of them want to also love him back and be like the Prodigal’s son and return back with a full embrace of kind mercies and everlasting life.
